Nest Hunting Prospect 1: Why And Why Not Camden Court?

Camden Court

Picture 1 of 8

I am now looking into getting an apartment and move in mid- April. It will not be long now, my PaJaMa will be here and we need our own space.  I want to live outside Baltimore City if I can get a car, because town homes are cheaper in the counties and they offer more space.

But I don’t have my driver’s license yet and time is running out. I don’t know if I can get a car soon. So now I’m left with no choice but to live in the city, near my work place.

Prospect No. 1 is Camden Court. It is a few blocks away from where I work. And walking to and from USH will not be an issue.

Social Networking and Me

facebook-twitter

If there’s one thing I appreciate in life, that is learning. Contrary to beliefs, most learning happen outside the four boundaries of school. Nowadays, people learn (believe it or not)  from social networking. On a personal note, I joined the bandwagon not because it is the current fad. It was more of expressing my true self virtually when I can’t in the real world. I don’t know if that is something negative but for me it isn’t.

Yes, there can be judgmental and sensitive people inside Facebook and Twitter. In fact, it is presently being overrun by copy-paste trolls and emo monsters who can’t spell. Okay fine, I’m one of those judgmental peeps. But the thing is, I love the internet. The web is a beautiful thing.  I can’t imagine my life without it.Would I want to miss out on almost everything? Hell no. And besides, it’s fun to connect to friends and get in touch with the bastards. Just sayin.’

Mangan Tayo!

I went to Giants today to do my weekly grocery shopping.  Although I was provided with lots of food choices, there’s nothing in there that can satisfy my Filipino gut.

I miss waking up to the smell of fried tuyo, ginisang sardinas and hot, freshly baked pandesal. Yum!

I guess for now I will have to get used to the American way of living, that includes eating sausages, bacon, eggs and waffles for breakfast. I don’t mind though, I love that combo.

When Gatorade Becomes Haterade

  haterade-2

BEWARE:

Hateradea figurative drink representing a modality of thought.

I feel like (again) I am overdosed with Haterade because of:

  1. People who pretend they are the victims when in reality they are the meanest antagonists on earth. How I wish they go extinct!
  2. All the talks about the New Ipad. I’d rather watch Yahoo’s Remake America than reading woes about what’s not included in the new “I.” For crying out loud, there’s always something missing in these gadgets! It’s a marketing strategy!
  3. Indecipherable Facebook status messages that only your second-hand brain and any mindf*cks like you will understand.
  4. Ungrammatical profiles. Just imagine someone using a past tense verb as a noun. If you can’t speak or write it, drop it! I would rather use my native tongue. Proud of it!

And I don’t care who reads this, because you know what? It feels good to write again and in the REAL world…you can’t say these things without offending someone. Kaboom!

What’s on My Android Device

Social Media

I have my Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 for almost 3 months now and only now was I able to sync my personal domain email (@ynasanpedro.com) with it.  I tried it a few times but failed. And to my surprise it is as easy as 1-2-3. To cut the long story short, I had to reset the device to factory default setting so I can use my main email for all apps. It meant erasing all the apps I downloaded and downloading them all again.

It took me around 2 hours to do this. But I’m happy my device is working for ynasanpedro.com now.  Oh and I was able to sync my WordPress blog too.

I don’t know if these new tech gadgets are here to make our lives easier or do they make it more complicated???
