I also bought a new journal….it has been a while since I had one. I’ve been using the computer every time I have to write something down. Sometimes I think I dont know how to write legibly anymore. Sounds stupid? Try using your pc everyday and see what happens.

Sprint Premier Telesales starts today. Lucky for me I will be starting tomorrow instead. My sched changed from 9 by 5 to 11 by 4. Additional rest day for me…but longer hours of work. That ain’t so bad. Whether we will have higher conversions or scorecards is still a waiting game.

We had a Team Building last Saturday at Sitio Lucia Resort here in Sta. Maria Bulacan. The team all went gaga over the food Nazi and I prepared for them. They loved the spicy tuna sandwich Nazi’s mother-in-law made for us. Thanks Mommy! Many thanks to Jun who brought king size squids and milk fish. The guys got drunk…it took 4 liters of Generoso to shut ‘em up.

The main idea why Sprint launched a Split Skill is that, they want to take care of their premier accounts( Business and White Glove ) who may want to order additional units, renew their contracts and upgrade their phones. They would want their premier account holders to experience superb customer care service and at the same time maximize their privileges. This training minimizes customer’s negative experiences, multiple transfers and run-arounds.

Telesales agents included in the training are specifically chosen under existing qualifiers such as their total units conversion, quality score and balanced scorecards. The list was actually chosen and finalized by no other than the Director for Sales.

When I was still taking calls for general telesales, I always hate calling customer care department for the reason that in almost any of those calls I made through them, it takes time before an issue gets resolved. Now, I understand why. The CMS tool itself is a bleeder. I’ve learned my lesson not to lookdown on Customer Care Agents. They usually gets the bigger chunk of work. But of course in a few days time…i will be using the same tool plus a couple of more add-ons.

Last month, I was also one of the lucky ones included in a focused discussion group with Sprint’s General Manager for Telesales, Steve Kay. Premier Telesales was not discussed though but a focus on quality calls is. So the split skill is an action initiated by Sprint to also bring down the site’s defect score.

NCO is also coming up with Quality push. Aside from adhering to the scripting from Sprint, NCO’s trainor, Mike came up with the CALL FLOW TOOL idea. The system includes not only the call flow process but every Sprint services and telesales tools made available on every telesales agent’s desktop. I like how it works, it actually makes browsing easier, rebuttals and proper scripting are organized so we don’t have to open a window for each tool.

Im hoping that this is just a beginning of a more wonderful partnership with Sprint.

Today I signed up as a volunteer for ICANSERVE Breast Cancer Advocacy Group. A number of women in my family including my mom died of CA…so as much as possible I want to get involved with these help groups.

From the ICS website, I also availed of their free book, purchased a wristband and a shirt. I do encourage everyone to also purchase something from the ICS shop, one fourth of all purchases will go directly to ICANSERVE FOUNDATION.

If you have free time, after school or after work or even a few hours a week, you can sign up as a volunteer also.

Breast Ca is one of the leading causes of death in the Philippines. I do believe that we can fight Ca with early prevention and detection, and of course with enough support group. For all the women who are suffering with this disease, DON’T LOSE HOPE, and for all the survivors BE THE SYMBOL OF HOPE. And for US, do something NOW, help ICANSERVE.

And just today, after a month of debating, I finally gave in to Ross’ laptop craving. He’s got the Acer 4920G. I didn’t like the laffy at first because of the color. Barack Obama had just won the US Presidential Elections and made history as US’ first black president. I hope he makes the necessary changes that America has long been waiting for. Yes! He can!

I was kind of disappointed because I was supposed to be on leave yesterday so I have time to rest before me and my family go to our departed love ones. My leave, was denied because Admin said I filed it late! So I ended up working last night.

Even so, I had a great time today. My sisters and brother all went home. It’s been a while since we’ve been complete on All Saint’s Day. It will also be the first time of Jaiden and his cousin Misha to visit my Mom’s resting place.

Sprint customers have been calling since the beginning of this month to ask for this phone. The long awaited HTC TOUCH PRO was just released today from Sprint. This phone is pretty amazing. A lot of people thought that it is an upgrade for the HTC Diamond which was released last month. But the PRO is actually an upgrade of the HTC Mogul. This one is a PDA phone unlike the Diamond which is just a CDMA EVDO.

The PRO received very good reviews even before it was released. The phone is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 and designed with TouchFLO 3D which by the way is easier to use from the PRO than in the Diamond. So far this phone is the best Windows Mobile device under Sprint. It has the usual windows applications like Windows Live, Google Maps, Office, Opera 9.5 and HTC You Tube Application. The GPS capability works well with Google Maps…it locks very well and looks nice on a VGA screen.

Of course any corporate individual would love a QWERTY keypad in a PDA. The Qwerty keyboard of the PRO slides open with the slightest touch. The phone also comes with 2 cameras, 1 front 3G cam and a rear 3.2 MP camera.

The PRO is further enhanced with WI-FI,Bluetooth 2.0 and HTC ExtUSB for easier connectivity.

Telesaless will surely be looking for more Gross Adds because of this great phone!

It’s been a year now since I had my first call center stint under Zune.

I left the account and now working for Sprint. I’ve been wanting to have the gadget but still wishing for it until now. It’s high time to grant myself this little wish for Xmas.

Zune is a counterpart of Ipod Nano. Im not so much a fan of Mac, sorry to say that.
Hey, almost everybody here in the Phil uses Ipod…as if it’s the only MP3 in the market.
Zune is much more special because it has WiFi unlike the Nano, you can transfer music wirelessly and can even send tracks to your friends who also owns a Zune. I know the Ipod touch comes with these features also, but nothin can make me change my mind over Zune. My friend has an Ipod touch, and there’s no way I’ m gonna spend P14000 on it. There are no Zunes available in the Phil market so I’ll have my friends ship it to me from the US.

Zune’s desktop software is also an advantage. My hubby was using a different desktop MP3 player before but when I told him to download the Zune software…he never stopped using it.
