Maya has just turned 2 months. It is the perfect time to introduce her to Christianity. I am currently preparing her baptismal party which will be attended by “close family and friends” (ONLY). Ross and I want it to be simple and private as possible without all the glitz.

The Center for Life Improvement and Health Development (C.H.I.L.D) House Project was founded by Ricky Reyes, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), and several NGOs and specialty hospitals. Its mission is to provide shelter for children and young adults who are afflicted with cancer and other diseases. Their immediate family’s burden is lessened knowing that these kids have a place to stay while undergoing treatment.

Now that PCSO is transferring office from Quezon City to Manila, CHILD HOUSE was requested to vacate their office without any assurance of relocation.

Let’s find shelter for these kids. Christmas is just around the corner. I hope those who have more than enough in their pockets, find generosity in their hearts and help these children look for a new home.

Like Jaiden and Maya, I wish these children have a merriest Christmas ever.

Happy Anniversary Papa!

I LOVE YOU.

On October 7, Ross and I will be celebrating our 5th Wedding Anniversary. Time goes by so fast. One moment we’re exchanging vows and now we have two kids. What can I say Papa, it has been a roller coaster ride so far. I am so happy I have you in my life. I love you.

I had a successful C-section last September 15th. I felt the contractions as early as 4am. I knew she’s ready to come out that day. Finally at 12:42 PM, my baby girl Maya was born.

All pinkish and with chubby cheeks, you wouldn’t thought she’s only 6.11 pounds. She looks a lot like her big brother Jaiden.

When I saw her, all the pains I experienced for 9 whole months were well worth it.

I want to take this time to greet the only one man in my life who makes me happy everyday. Happy Fathers’ Day Papa. I won’t stop saying thank you and I love you…those are phrases that will keep coming out of my mouth until my last breath.

I have accepted defeat, Jaiden loves you more than he loves me, that is because you love him more than anything and anyone in this world. It goes the same for our Maya. She will look up to you as her hero. The brattinela’s princess will be a certified Papa’s girl.

We love you Papa!

Happy Fathers’ Day also to my Dad and to my Father-in-Law, to my brother Nino, and to my brother-in-law Kuya Elmer who after 10 long years will now be celebrating his first Fathers’ Day!
