After I delivered my son Jaiden, I never regained my pre-pregnancy weight. I was around 110 lbs before I got pregnant. I was happy with my body then.
Now Im 132 lbs and that’s pretty heavy. I still have that post pregnancy flab on my midsection that does not really do me any good especially when I want to shop for new clothes. I don’t fit in my old dresses anymore, so instead of getting depressed, I gave ‘em all away.
My statistics blew up to 33″,35″,39″, upper arm circumference to 12″.
I’ve tried dieting, exercising and I also took in Chinese diet pills. But with continuous stress on my job, I couldn’t keep up. I keep on gaining weight.
I went to see a doctor and he recommended Orlistat. It’s a diet pill that doesn’t suppress appetite but instead stops absorption of fat. I take in 3 capsules a day with meals, but I can skip a dose if the meal does not contain too much fat.
The caps are also pretty expensive especially if you will complete the 3 doses. I guess diet pills are made to be expensive. I have been taking it in for 4 days now.
There’s nothing to worry about in terms of side effects. Ive noticed more frequent, oily bowel movements. No diarrhea or pains whatsoever. The doc said I just have to take in my vitamins daily because the pill prevents absorption of fat, hence it will also hinder absorption of fat soluble vitamins.
My target is to lose 2 lbs a week. Starting today, no rice policy, I’ll have bread and bananas instead to reduce my carbo intake. No more fatty foods, but will have lean meat and fish. More on veggies and fruits. No more iced teas and sodas, will take in water instead.
