Fancy Dinner? What does it mean exactly? Sabi nila.. expensive restos and bars daw. Eh anu naman ang Romantic? Sabi nila… with music or candles or even under the stars. I think I had both last night.
It’s past 8pm yesterday, adobong chicken ang ulam namin ng baby ko.. but we didn’t have the appetite to eat rice so I just told him na trip kong lumabas. We just walked outside of the house.. and went to this sari-sari store. We bought 2 packs of jack and jill pretzels and 1 bottle of Sarsi. Eh naka park sa labas Sportivo ng Bebe ko.. sa loob kami ng car kumain.. with aircon and music pa. Then all of a sudden, the skies lit with fireworks.. not the ordinary ones but the real colorful fireworks, end na pala ng fiesta ng Sta. Maria. So in other words… nalibre pa kami sa fireworks show while we enjoy the food and the music. Biglang sabi ng Bebe ko.. “This is LIFE!”
Siyempre nabitin pa kami sa jack and jill… nag dessert kami ng BALOT! Speaking of Fancy and Romantic… I had them both! May mahihiling ka pa ba?
Never question if you’re inlove or not, you wouldn’t need to ask. What you feel in your heart will tell you everything you need to know.

When I woke up yesterday, Manang told me that my sister, who works for ABS-CBN’s current affairs, called and warned us that something is happening in Manila. There’s a failed coup attempt against the government, several members of the Armed Forces were arrested for withdrawing their support from the President and for recruiting even the highest positioned AFP chief to join them in the coup. I hurriedly turned on the TV, army tanks and trucks full of armed soldiers of the AFP were entering Manila through the NLEX, the palace, PNP and Camp Aguinaldo in highest alert. I thought.. ok.. here we go again.
At about 10-11am, the President spoke on National TV and declared a State of Emergency, a move in which the government protects itself and the nation from violent attacks of rebellion. Interviews of several politicians, lawmen and personalities came pouring in as they questioned the legalities of such a declaration because this could mean the presence of warantless arrests and possibly human rights violation as in the case of Marcos’ Martial Law in the early 70’s.
Rallyists began marching in to EDSA where about 300-400 policemen and soldiers were waiting to disperse them at anytime. The declaration of a state of emergency included the President’s order to cancel all rally permits. The rallies in the EDSA shrine were quickly dispersed. Prof. Randy David’s and Rep. Pia Hontiveros’ rally group who marched from Kamuning to Santolan suffered the same fate, and failed to enter the perimeters of the shrine. Militant Group leaders were also arrested and questioned.
Since the militants cannot penetrate EDSA they all went to Ayala Makati and held their rallies in Ninoy Aquino’s monument where they were joined by the Opposition and some big personalities like the former President, Cory Aquino.
The day was filled with chaos and uncertainty. As I entered the NLEX on my way to work, I can feel the tension as several armed soldiers were positioned at the expressway’s entry point checking all private and public vehicles entering Manila.
I don’t understand why such things happen. Our economy is slowly recovering but because of political instability, we might end up going back from where we started. What’s the point of holding elections when we don’t honor the people we place in power. We are sole reasons of our Country’s failure to grow.
If Filipinos continue their crabmentality and stubborness… there might not be a good future to hold on to.

For those who loves cooking seafoods you can make use of this recipe. It’s simple and easy to cook. Here’s how it’s done:
Ingredients:
1/2 kilo of shrimp (unshelled)
1 piece onion, shredded
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup lee kum kee ORIENTAL SAUCE
1 cup water
Boil shrimp with water until medium rare, set aside. Heat pan and saute shrimp with butter and onion until light brown. Pour in Lee Kum Kee Oriental Sauce and stir for 3 minutes.
Tip: Shrimp should be medium rare so that the meat will remain soft. If you want it to be a little sweeter.. you may add in white sugar.

Dumating na ang baby doggie ni Milo ko. She’s more beautiful than milo nung puppy pa siya. Ang liit ng face nagmana sa Mommy nya.. pero what I like most about her is yung ears nya.. namana nya kay Milo ko. And her pagkamalambing. Yung eyes.. kay Milo din but yung thickness ng hair.. sa Mommy’s side. My Dad named her Mimosa.. coz she’s so beautiful. I call her Pokyang… kasi ang taba-taba… bouncy little pup.
I have a little problem though… she doesn’t eat eukanuba. Nasanay sya sa Pedigree Beef. Well let’s see what I can do about that. I have to buy her at least 2 cans tomorrow. I don’t want her to get thin.
Grabe ang laki na ng family ko. 2 Japz, 1 Terrier, 1 BIG Red Paco fish and 2 pairs of love birds.
Wala si Milo ngayon.. inuwi ni Ross sa Sta. Clara.. time to bathe him tomorrow. Ang dumi-dumi na ni Milo, he likes to play sa garden kasi. Si Bogs naman walang pakialam.. he eats then sleeps. Ang cute ng mga babies ko!
No one really knows how many wrong persons God will send us in a lifetime before we meet the ONE, but we have to hold on to our faith that one day he’ll bring us the RIGHT ONE - I should know… he’s already with me
